Available as a premium add-on for NS1 Connect, Cloud Sync streamlines multi‑provider DNS management by automatically translating and synchronizing zones, records, and traffic‑steering configurations across multiple cloud DNS services. This continuous synchronization removes the friction of managing different provider formats, rules, and capabilities.

Cloud Sync dramatically reduces the manual effort required to understand, replicate, and maintain complex configurations across providers with differing approaches to achieving the same outcome.

If an external provider, such as Amazon Route 53, is your primary DNS service, you can configure an inbound sync to pull data into NS1 Connect and publish it to one or more NS1 Connect DNS networks, making NS1 Connect your secondary provider.

Alternatively, if NS1 Connect is your primary, you can configure one or more outbound syncs to external networks for multi‑provider DNS management or for maintaining backup zone data that can be restored at any time.
