The console display might be failing.
- If your server has an attached console, but the console display is not working, see the documentation for the display or try substituting a known good display for the one that is failing.
- If you can see selection screens on the terminals, press the appropriate
key on the input device within 60 seconds. If the console does not
respond to the keystroke:
- If you are selecting the console with a keyboard attached to the
system, replace the keyboard, see the service documentation for the
system unit for keyboard part numbers. If the keyboard does not fix
the problem, replace the service processor. Use the following table
to determine the part number for the field replaceable unit (FRU).

- If you are selecting the console with an ASCII terminal, suspect
the terminal. Use the problem determination procedures for the terminal.Note: The ASCII terminal settings should be:
- 19,200 baud
- No parity
- 8 data bits
- 1 stop bit
This ends the procedure.
- If you are selecting the console with a keyboard attached to the
