Accessing the GUI

How to access the DataPower GUI.

Before you begin

The web management service must be configured to allow access. You can configure access in one of the following ways.
  • During initial firmware setup.
  • With the web-mgmt command after installation.

About this task

You can choose whether to log in to the Blueprint Console or WebGUI from the DataPower GUI login page. The interface that you choose becomes your default GUI.

Procedure

  1. Direct your browser to the DataPower GUI login page.
    Use the defined host and port from the configuration of the web management interface. The URL uses the HTTPS protocol and has the https://host:port format.
  2. In the login fields, specify the account name and password.
  3. From the Domain list, select the domain to access.
  4. From the Graphical interface list, select the GUI to log in to.
  5. Click Login.

What to do next

When in one GUI, you can switch to the other. Switching does not change the setting for your default GUI.

  2. From the list, select WebGUI.
