Creating Industry Codes

Industry codes are codes used to identify an industry that an external party or supplier may provide or specialize in.

To create an industry code, complete the following steps:

1. Click the Emptoris® Virtual Supply Master tab.
2. Click Industry Codes > All Industry Codes > Create.
3. On the Create Industry Code window, enter the following information:
   • Code
   • Name
   • Description
   • Parent Industry Code
   • Type of Industry code - NAICS or SIC
4. Click Save.
