System security guidelines

It is important to apply system security updates correctly. Review these guidelines to ensure that system updates don't affect your IBM® Cloud Manager with OpenStack nodes.

For example, if you updated your version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux® to a future release, the update might affect IBM Cloud Manager with OpenStack operability. Consider the following guidelines.

yum -y install yum-plugin-security
yum --security update
