This portion of the view can also be displayed in table form. The
table format is useful for managing large numbers of groups. The table
format, similar to the example shown in
Figure 1, allows for
multi-column sorting and filtering, and presents the data in a more
accessible format. By default, the table is sorted by
the Status
column, then by the Availability column, and then by the Name column.
As with the other topology workspaces, you can switch between table
and topology views by using the icons in the action bar. The table
view includes the following columns:
- Name
- Description
- Aggregates (the number of operation aggregates in the group)
- Status
- Availability (counts the number of unavailability situations)
- Performance (Response time, seconds)
- Volume (message counts)
- Group Type (service or process groups)
You can sort and filter the table by any of the columns.

Configuring the table mode threshold: This graphical view
automatically switches to table format when the number of groups exceeds
the threshold settings defined in the properties for the workspace.
To configure this threshold, see View properties.
Sorting table columns for groups with no value: If you want
to sort by those groups that have no value (a blank cell) in the table
column, you can sort on the appropriate column in the table. Sorting
moves all of the rows in ascending or descending order.
