Configuration requirements to migrate IBM i mobile partitions

With the Hardware Management Console (HMC) Version 7 Release 7.5.0, or later, you can move IBM® i mobile partitions from one server to another.

The following list includes the configuration requirements for moving an IBM i mobile partition:

• The mobile partition must not have a profile with a server SCSI adapter.
• The mobile partition must not have a profile that has HSL (High Speed Link) OptiConnect or Virtual OptiConnect enabled.
