Approval Initiator

The approval initiator is a user from the approvals list. The approvals list can consist of users and user groups that are defined in single or multiple levels.

Sequence in approval process

An approval initiator always has Sequence 0 in the approval process. When a contract is presented or executed, an automatic approval workflow is initiated. The approve contract task is assigned to the user with Sequence 1 and subsequently to other users if there are other sequences.

When the approval process is complete, the approval initiator can present or execute the contract.
