Creating an Autocomplete Dictionary

Autocomplete is configured by creating an autocomplete dictionary and then providing the phrases in the dictionary to the user either through the Watson™ Explorer Engine display or through an API application.

An autocomplete dictionary is created like any other dictionary by clicking the () icon next to the Dictionaries item in the left hand menu. Watson Explorer Engine provides a base autocomplete dictionary (base-autocomplete) that is configured with the appropriate settings for creating an autocomplete dictionary: Should Tokenize set to false, a Prune Size of 1, and a single autocomplete dictionary output.
