Disabling slot-based resource plan migration to multidimensional scheduling

Disable slot-based resource plan migration to multidimensional scheduling.

About this task

Slot-based resource plan migration to multidimensional scheduling can be disabled only through the cluster management console. When you disable migration to multidimensional scheduling, the configuration for the resource plan reverts to slot-based scheduling configuration settings. You must first remove any associated resource groups from a migrated resource plan before you disable migration and the resource plan is returned to slot-based scheduling.
Note: If you disable migration to multidimensional scheduling, the lend-out grace period and resource reserve are changed under the ownership model and the data is lost.

Procedure

  1. Remove any merged resource groups from the migrated resource plan.
  2. Clear the Use multidimensional scheduling check box.

The Lendout GracePeriod and Reserve columns change to Lend | Limit and Borrow | Limit, to reflect slot-based scheduling.

  3. Click OK to confirm that the multidimensional scheduling data is lost for the resource plan, which reverts to slot-based scheduling settings.

Results

Slot-based resource plan migration to multidimensional scheduling is disabled.
