Integrating Content Collector for SAP into the SAP Solution Manager

You can integrate Content Collector for SAP into the SAP Solution Manager by registering Content Collector for SAP with the SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD).

Procedure

  1. Change to the directory of your Collector Server installation.
    The default installation directory is as follows:
    • LinuxUNIX InstallHome/server
    • Windows InstallHome\server
  2. Open the file slddata.xml in a text editor. This file is in the installation directory.
  3. Replace all occurrences of the word HOSTNAME with the fully qualified name of the host where Collector Server is installed.
  4. Copy the modified file slddata.xml to a directory on the system where the SAP Solution Manager is installed.
  5. Run the sldreg tool to upload the information that is contained in the modified slddata.xml file to the SLD.
