Set an FSP network password

Set an FSP network password in IBM® Platform Cluster Manager Community Edition.

Before you begin

In Platform Cluster Manager Community Edition, the default user name and password of an FSP network is admin and admin. In Platform Cluster Manager Community Edition you cannot change the default user name, only the password.

About this task

The user name and password for an FSP network are stored in the PASSWD table. Set the new password by updating this table.

To determine what your current password is set to use the tabdump passwd command.

• To change the FSP network password, set the password value for the corresponding fsp key in the PASSWD table. To change the password of the FSP network, run the following command:

  chtab key=fsp passwd.username=admin passwd.password=newpassword

• To view the current FSP password, run the following command:

  tabdump passwd
