Instalación del servidor Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) en Linux

Aprenda a instalar el servidor Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) en el sistema Linux.

Antes de empezar

Para instalar el servidor TSM, asegúrese de que dispone de un equipo Linux con RHEL 7.x.
Nota:
  1. No instale el servidor TSM está en IBM Cloud Pak for Data System.
  2. Si tiene algún problema al instalar o configurar TSM, póngase en contacto con el servicio de asistencia de TSM.

Procedimiento

  1. Instale el servidor TSM:
    1. Descargue TSM/IBM Spectrum Protect de Fix Central y guárdelo en el sistema servidor. Por ejemplo: 8.1.10.000-IBM-SPSRV-Linuxx86_64.bin.
    2. Como root, descomprima el paquete de instalación:
      ./8.1.10.000-IBM-SPSRV-Linuxx86_64.bin.
      Ejemplo:
      [root@~ ~]# ./8.1.10.000-IBM-SPSRV-Linuxx86_64.bin
    3. Ejecute el script install.sh para iniciar la instalación:
      ./install.sh
      Ejemplo:
      [root@~ ~]# ./install.sh
    4. Seleccione los paquetes de software que desea instalar:
      1. Escriba 1 para iniciar la instalación de los paquetes:
        =====> IBM Installation Manager

Select:
     1. Install - Install software packages

      2. Escriba [C] 1 para seleccionar el paquete IBM Spectrum Protect server 8.1.10.20200521_1523 para su instalación:

     2. [ ] IBM Spectrum Protect languages 8.1.10.20200521_1521

      5. Para seleccionar los paquetes 3, 4, y 5 para su instalación, repita los pasos.
      6. Una vez seleccionados todos los paquetes, escriba N :

  2. Configure el Installation Manager TSM:
    1. Crea un grupo:
      groupadd tsmsrvrs
    2. Añade un usuario al grupo:
      useradd -g tsmsrvrs tsminst1
    3. Establezca una contraseña para el usuario:
      passwd tsminst1
      Ejemplo:
      # passwd tsminst1

    4. Entra en tsminst1 y crea un directorio:

    5. Como root, cree una instancia de db2 :
      /opt/tivoli/tsm/db2/instance/db2icrt -a server -u tsminst1 tsminst1
      Ejemplo:

    6. Actualiza la ruta por defecto de la base de datos:
      su - tsminst1
      /opt/tivoli/tsm/db2/bin/db2 update dbm cfg using dftdbpath /home/tsminst1

      db2 update dbm cfg using dftdbpath /home/tsminst1
    7. Copie dsmserv.opt.smp en /home/tsminst1 y formatee dsmserv :
      cp -rp /opt/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/dsmserv.opt.smp /home/tsminst1/dsmserv.opt
      pwd
/home/tsminst1

    8. Vaya al directorio tsminst1 e inicie el servicio dsmserv :
      cd /home/tsminst1/tsminst1
      dsmserv
  3. Configure el servicio dsmserv.
    Ejecute los comandos en dsmserv :
    1. Establezca el nombre del servidor:
      set servername CHOOSE_NAME
      Ejemplo
      set servername SQA_TSM_SERVER
    2. Registro tsminst1 :
      register admin tsminst1 tsminst1
    3. Conceder autoridad a tsminst1 :
      grant authority tsminst1 classes=system
    4. Establezca la contraseña del servidor:
      set serverpassword server_console
    5. Stop dsmserv :
      halt
    6. Vuelve a dsmserv :
      dsmserv
  4. Cree un dominio, un conjunto de políticas y active la política recién creada.
    Ejecute los comandos desde dsmserv.
    Cambie los nombres que se utilizan en los comandos según sus necesidades.
    1. Copia el dominio:
      copy domain standard NETEZZA
    2. Actualiza el grupo de copia:
      update copygroup NETEZZA standard standard standard type=backup verexists=10
    3. Validar el conjunto de políticas:
      validate policyset NETEZZA standard
    4. Active el conjunto de políticas:
      activate policyset NETEZZA standard
    5. Registrar el nodo :
      register node 9.70.203.26 netezza1 domain=NETEZZA
      9.70.203.26 es la dirección IP donde está instalado el cliente.
    6. Nodo de registro:
      register node 9.70.203.26_IPS netezza1 domain=NETEZZA
    7. Conceder nodo proxy:
      grant proxynode agent=9.70.203.26 target=9.70.203.26_IPS
    8. Conceder nodo proxy:
      grant proxynode agent=9.70.203.26_IPS target=9.70.203.26
    9. Defina el pool de almacenamiento:
      define stgpool NETEZZA disk maxsize=800G
      maxsize especifica el tamaño máximo de un archivo físico que el servidor puede almacenar en el pool de almacenamiento.
    10. Definir volumen basado en el nombre de montaje externo y la ruta:
      define volume BACKUPPOOL /external_mnt/SAN/backup formatsize=800000
    11. Muestra los volúmenes definidos:
      q vol
    12. Muestra los nodos definidos:
      q node
    13. Cambia la ruta en función del nombre y la ruta del montaje externo.
      Puedes definir varios volúmenes en función del tamaño disponible y de las necesidades.
      define volume BACKUPPOOL /external_mnt/SAN/backup formatsize=800000
    14. Muestra los nodos definidos:
