This topic describes the average ICN transaction response times for different load
levels.
Figure 1 shows the average ICN transaction response times for different load levels.
The average response time was calculated over the complete set of executed ICN transactions
during the stable workload phase (rampup and rampdown phase excluded).
There were short running transactions with response times from 100 - 600 ms, as well as a few
longer running transaction with response times from 1000-2000ms for the 1000 virtual ICN user load.
In the following description, only the average response time is considered.

Observations
The average ICN transaction response time started at 150 ms for a low load level and increased up
to 500 ms for a high load level in a non-linear manner.
Conclusion
For this particular ECM workload, an average ICN response time below 1 second was expected and
good. The SUT showed overall good response times, even with a heavily increase of load at the
highest load level!
