The Metadata Summary-Database Profile report provides a
summary of all tables and their significant statistics within a selected
set of data schemas. The report lists each table in a database, alias
names in the database, as well as the number of columns and the number
of rows for the selected table.
Parameters
Specify the parameters for the
report:
- Host
- Select the host name that has the columns that you want to be
included in the report.
- Data store
- Select the data store on the selected host computer. A data store
is a virtual entity that has connection details to the source repository.
- Data schemas
- Select the schemas on the host computer that you want included
in the report.
- Tables to include
- Select the names of the tables you want to include in the report.
- Include schema descriptions
- Select this option to show a short description of the schemas.
- Include table descriptions
- Select this option to show a short description of the tables.
- Include terms
- Select this option to include any terms associated with the databases
or tables included in the report. A term is a word that has a specific
business meaning.
- Include policies
- Select this option to include any policies associated with the
databases or tables included in the report.
- Include contacts
- Select this option to include any contacts associated with the
databases or tables. A contact contains personal information such
as names, addresses, and telephone numbers of users.
- Include notes
- Select this option to show any notes associated with the databases
or tables.
