Function 01: Display selected IPL type, and system operating mode
This function allows you to display the current system operating mode, the firmware mode for the next IPL, and the operating system IPL mode (when enabled).
This function is available in both normal and manual operating mode.
This function displays the following information:
- The operating system (OS) IPL types (A, B, C, or D).
- The valid system operating modes (M or N).
- The firmware mode (P or T).
- HMC indicator (1 or 0)
- Hypervisor type (PVM (Power® Virtualization Manager) or OPAL (Open Power Abstraction Layer))
