General User
Purpose
Use the SET command to establish, turn off, or reset a particular function in your CMS virtual machine. Only one operand may be specified per SET command. SET cannot be issued without an operand.

Usage Notes
General Usage Notes for all SET command Operands
- If you issue the SET command specifying a not valid function and the implied CP function is in effect, you may receive message HCPCFC003E Invalid option - option.
- If a not valid SET command function is specified from an exec and the implied CP function is in effect, the return code is -0003.
- To determine or verify the setting of most functions, use the QUERY command.
