Making Sure Symptom Record Recording Is Active

CP includes symptom records in every dump. The symptom record service machine can place these records in a separate CMS file. This can help support personnel identify known problems and their fixes without first reading the dumps. Accordingly, when you bring up z/VM®, make sure that symptom record recording is active.
