Purpose

The QUERY SYSTEM ZONE command requests information about the time zone offset from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). RSCS compares the time stamp at your local system to Greenwich Mean Time and displays the difference in hours, minutes, and seconds. RSCS also displays whether the offset is east or west of Greenwich.
