Displaying a File on Your Screen

To work on a copy of a file, use the same command that you used to create the file:

XEDIT filename filetype filemode

If the file mode is A, you do not have to type it because A is the default.

A copy of the file appears on your screen, but the original is still in permanent storage. The original remains unchanged until you enter a FILE or SAVE command.
