Return Codes

When a VMLIB CSL routine is called, a return code is issued by either the called routine or the calling interface. If the return code from the called routine is zero, the reason code returned from the routine is also zero. If the return code from the called routine is nonzero, the reason code provides additional information about the cause. (For information about reason codes, see Reason Codes.)
