QUERY VMRELOCATE
Authorization
Privilege Class: A, B, C, E
Purpose
Use the QUERY VMRELOCATE command to display the relocation capability of the specified user. This command can be used to determine to which relocation domain a particular user belongs, and therefore, to which SSI members it may be relocated.
Operands
- USER userid
- specifies the user ID whose relocation capability is being queried. The user ID must be logged
on. If
*
is specified, the target user is the command issuer.
Usage Notes
- Use the QUERY RELODOMAIN command to determine which member systems are included in the user's relocation domain.
- If the QUERY VMRELOCATE command is issued for a user ID defined by a multiconfiguration virtual machine definition, which cannot be relocated, the response will indicate the single-member domain of the system where the command is issued, with relocation disabled. The relocation capability of such a user cannot be changed with the SET VMRELOCATE command.
- For information about Using Relocation Domains, see z/VM: CP Planning and Administration.
Responses
Response 1:
