Purpose

Use FLASHCOPY TGTWRITE to enable writing on a target full volume that was write-inhibited with the FLASHCOPY ESTABLISH NOTGTWRITE option.

Operands

TARGET
describes the volumes that are dedicated devices or full-pack minidisks that are to be affected.
vdev1
defines a dedicated device or full-pack minidisk.
0–END
identifies all the real cylinders of the dedicated device or full-pack minidisk.
numcyls
identifies the number of real cylinders in this extent. The value must be equal to the number of cylinders defined for the dedicated device or full-pack minidisk.

Usage Notes

  1. This relationship will not be withdrawn.
  2. Applying this command to a REVERSIBLE relationship makes it no longer reversible.
