Systems/C and Systems/C++ ELF-compatible compilers

The z/TPF system supports the Systems/C and Systems/C++ V2.25 compilers as ELF-compatible compilers.

Install the Systems/C and Systems/C++ V2.25 compilers and apply the z/TPF 2021 APAR PJ46531. By applying this APAR, your z/TPF system remains current, even if you choose not to use the latest level of the compilers at this time. However, your product code must be compiled with the Systems/C and Systems/C++ V2.25 compilers to benefit from the function provided in this version of the compilers. You can start to use the Systems/C and Systems/C++ V2.25 compilers gradually, for example, by using the latest version of the compilers for all future compiles while you continue to run with application objects and CSOs that were built with the Systems/C and Systems/C++ V1.98 compilers.

For more information about the Systems/C and Systems/C++ V2.25 compilers, see the Dignus website.
