Format of OPTIONS DD

You can specify two types of control information using OPTIONS DD control cards. The first type, general options, specifies which data run to select for processing. Each data run is produced by a successful running of the ZTRAP command. See General options for information about these control cards.

You can specify the second type, special options, to control the data analysis and the types of information included in the reports that are produced. The special option control cards vary depending on whether the data run being processed was collected using the EI, EA, MA, PR, or RC option of the ZTRAP command. Note: All OPTIONS DD control cards are 80-character fixed-length records, whether included in the job stream or included as cataloged sequential input files on DASD.
