pfaddr
The file address of the prime block.
cfaddr

Last updated

Added in 2022.

Explanation

CRUISE chain chase processing detected that STDAUT bit 0, which is used with z/TPFDF encryption support, is on in a block that was successfully decrypted. However, the ENCRYPTALLOW parameter is set to NO in the DBDEF macro of the file. This message might occur while you are disabling encryption on the file or if an application is incorrectly using STDAUT bit 0.

System action

CRUISE processing continues.

User response

Take one of the following actions:
  • If you are in the process of disabling encryption on a file that was encrypted and did not complete all the steps, complete the steps.
  • If an application is using STDAUT bit 0, complete the following steps:
    • Update the application to not use this bit.
    • Ensure that the application turns off the bit.
  • If the problem is not caused by an application or disabling encryption of a file, contact IBM Software Support.
