Description

Note:
  1. This routine can only be used by variations whose names adhere to the MULT convention. See Variation file name conventions and Useful variations for information about the MULT convention.
  2. This routine will force a correct message ID.
This routine sends a message to the client session (console) that is configured. This message can be one of two types:
  • Informational, which as an I message suffix
  • Error, which has an E message suffix.

This routine forces the correct operator message syntax. The message ID will be built using the first 4 bytes of the variation name and message number. The message number is a required input variable.

Example: TEST0003E 12:32:45 Variation 051 - timed out.
