Installing IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition

TPF Toolkit 4.6 Fix Pack 16 or earlier and the Eclipse Installer require IBM SDK, Java™ Technology Edition version 8 or later.

Before you begin

If your organization runs TPF Toolkit on Linux® on an x86 system, you must download the SDK, version 8 or later, for Linux on an x86 system to your internal host. For more information, see Linux only: Downloading IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition for Linux on an x86 system.
