Running a pack function
With the CRUISE pack function, you can pack the data structures to reduce DASD usage.
Before you begin
Procedure

Enter the ZFCRU START command to verify and display the parameter table
values.
In the following example, parameter table values are verified and displayed for TABLE1.

If the parameter table values pass verification, enter the ZFCRU START
command again to start the pack function.
In the following example, the pack function is started for parameter table TABLE1.

When the CRUISE function is completed, the parameter table is in stopped state.
