Installing into separate zones

The program directory for IBM Z® Service Management Suite, GI13-6204, is included with the product. The component product program directories are also included.

If you are installing the component products using the CBPDO option, you might want to install the products into separate zones. For example, you might want to set up the following separate zones:
  1. OMEGAMON® products, including the NetView agent.
  2. IBM Z NetView
  3. IBM Z Software Asset Management

To view the list of APAR fixes against previous releases of the component products that are included in the suite, refer to the program directories for each product. There might be required PTFs that need to be installed. You can get these PTFs by using SMP/E Internet Service Retrieval or by calling IBM® Software Support.
