Installing Z Operational Analytics OCI container images and supporting utilities

After you complete all the prerequisites installation and configuration, you can install Z Operational Analytics OCI container images and supporting utilities.

Procedure

  1. Change into the zoacommon subdirectory of the ZOA Common temporary working directory: 
    cd TEMP_WORK_DIR_ZOA/zoacommon
  2. Run the following command to launch the deployment: 
    ./podmanDeployZoa.sh -i
    You will see the following informational message:
    No Z Operational Analytics features detected. Will proceed to install support for ServiceNow CMDB integration.
  3. When you are prompted for the location into which you want to install the OCI artifacts, specify a writable directory with at least 5GB of available disk space.
    This directory will be referred to as ZOA_HOME for the remainder of this document.
  4. Depending on your system configuration, you might be prompted to confirm or override detected IP address values. These prompts are only displayed if the deployment script cannot determine an appropriate value on its own.
    Apart from that, the deployment will continue without further prompts until it completes. At the end, the installation directory and the startup command for the solution will be printed to the screen.
