Deployment Checklist page

You can use the Deployment Checklist page in the Software Management task to modify or copy existing deployments or to define new deployments.

The Checklist table lists the steps included in the software deployment process. To deploy software, complete all the steps in the checklist. For more details about the steps in the checklist, see help topic Defining new deployments. For more information about deployments, see help topic Deploying software.

For a description of the columns in the table, see Table 1.

Table 1. Columns in the Checklist table
Column Description
Progress Indicator of your progress through the checklist. One of the following values is displayed:
  • Arrow icon. Current step.
  • Check mark icon. Completed step.
  • Blank. Step has not been completed.
Step Description of the action you are to complete for the step. The description becomes a link when you complete the previous step. Click the description link and provide the requested information.

Your input is saved after you complete each step in the checklist; therefore, you can exit the checklist after completing any step. To do so, click Close on the Deployment Checklist page. You can proceed with the deployment at a later time. For more details, see help topic Modifying and resuming deployments.
