Abstract for Language Environment Vendor Interfaces

Purpose of this information

This information documents the set of low-level interfaces, or compiler-writer interfaces (CWIs), that can be used between the common runtime component and C, C++, COBOL, Fortran, PL/I. They can also be used between other member runtime components of Language Environment®.

Descriptions of Language Environment messages are included. The text of these messages might not exactly match that produced by Language Environment. You can find the exact text of messages in z/OS Language Environment Runtime Messages.
