Traffic Shaping Level Objects
Use this panel to specify traffic shaping levels, which characterize different ways to control the levels of traffic. Traffic shaping levels can control TCP connections, TCP throughput, and token bucket traffic policing.

Before you begin, decide on the values and settings that you want to specify in the steps below. If you are satisfied with the existing traffic shaping levels, you do not need to change anything on this panel.
Steps
- Click Actions > New to define a new traffic shaping level.
- Click Actions > Copy to define a new traffic shaping level that has the same values as the selected traffic shaping level; you can change the new traffic shaping level's values. You cannot copy the IBM supplied traffic shaping levels Deny or Permit.
- Click Actions > Modify to change the selected traffic shaping level. You cannot modify the IBM supplied traffic shaping levels.
- Click Actions > Delete to remove the selected traffic shaping level. You cannot remove the IBM supplied traffic shaping levels.
- Click Actions > Show Where Used to find out which requirement maps and connectivity rules reference the selected traffic shaping level.
- Click Actions > View Details to display the elements of the selected traffic shapping level.
You have completed this panel when you have specified in the steps above the values and settings that you want to have different from the defaults.
