Specifying your HTTP proxy settings
An HTTP proxy definition specifies the settings for z/OSMF to use when establishing an HTTPS connection between the system that hosts the z/OSMF instance to which your Web browser is connected and an internal or external system. z/OSMF does not support HTTPS communication between any other combination of systems.
The HTTP proxy definitions that are defined to z/OSMF are displayed on the HTTP Proxies page. To display this page, expand the z/OSMF Settings category and select Systems. Then, select HTTP Proxies from the Actions menu on the Systems page.
The HTTP Proxies table lists the HTTP proxy definitions that are defined to z/OSMF. The HTTP proxy definition named No Proxy is supplied by default, and cannot be modified, copied, or removed. Use this HTTP proxy definition if z/OSMF is not required to traverse an HTTP or SOCKS proxy server when sending HTTP requests.
