Static Route Table Entry

This panel allows you to enter static routing entries to your routing table.

It contains the parameters needed to create a static routing entry in the route table.

Before you begin, decide on the values and settings that you want to specify in the steps below. If you are satisfied with the defaults, you do not need to change them; but you must enter values for all required parameters (those marked with an asterisk = "*").

Click the Advanced tab to see additional parameters for the static route table entry.

Steps

  1. Click IPv4 or IPv6 to indicate the IP address version for this entry.
  2. Specify the destination address.
  3. Specify the first hop address.
  4. Type the interface name.
  5. Specify the MTU size.
  6. Select whether to allow this route entry to be replaced by OMPROUTE.

When you have entered your parameters, click OK to finish creating the new static entry in your route table.

The parameters entered in this panel must not be duplicates of another static entry in this route table. Two entries are considered duplicates if the entered IP version, interface names, destination addresses, first hop addresses, and the OMPROUTE settings are the same.
