TLS/SSL security
The Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol is defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force
(IETF) in
RFCs 2246, 4346, 5246, and 8446
. TLS is based on the Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) protocol.
This appendix is a reference for z/OS® Communications Server applications that use TLS/SSL.
