- IBM Z Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) allows RACF to use alternative authentication mechanisms in place of the standard z/OS password. This allows z/OS authentication to work with other RSA SecurID-based authentication systems, such as Apple Touch ID devices, certificate authentication options such as PIV/CAC cards, RADIUS, and more.
