Calculation examples for directory size

The tables here show calculation examples that depend on whether you are estimating the print data set size from pages (Table 1), lines or records (Table 1), or byte count (Table 1). The values in the tables are rounded up because it is better to overestimate.

The calculations in these tables assume that each active FSA is simultaneously processing the largest sized print data set (the most demanding scenario). If not, you might need to adjust the calculations.
