Multi-Access Spool panel (MAS)
The Multi-Access Spool (MAS) panel allows you to display and control the members of a JES2
MAS. The analogous JES3 JESPLEX panel simplifies the display and control of members in a JES3
JESPLEX.
Command keyword
Access the Multi-Access Spool panel with the MAS command from any SDSF panel. Under JES3 it is treated as a JESPLEX JP command.
Customize the display with parameters
The parameters shown in Table 1 allow you to customize the MAS display. The parameter usage is as follows:
MAS ALLMAS with no parameters displays only those members that are currently defined.
Consider the
following example:
- MAS - Display only the defined members of the MAS.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| ALL | Displays all members in the MAS, even those that are not currently defined. |
MAS command action characters
The action characters for the MAS command are shown in Table 2.| Action Character | Description |
|---|---|
| // | Block repeat; type // on the first row and another // on the last row to be processed. |
| = | Repeat previous action character or overtype. |
| +(n) | Expand the NP column; n is 4-20. (Use RESET to reset.) |
| %(exec) | Run a REXX exec. (ISPF only) |
| / | Show column values for row (ISPF only). |
| D | Display a member of the MAS in the log. |
| E | Restart a member of the MAS. |
| ER | Reset a member of the MAS. |
| J | Display the current state of monitor subtasks. You can add:
|
| P | Stop a member of the MAS. You can add:
|
PC![]() |
Stop conversion on a member of the MAS. JES2 only![]() |
