2—delete row
You can use the Delete row option to remove an existing row from
an open table. When you select the Delete row option, perform these
tasks on the Tables panel:
- Specify the name of a table in the Table Name field. If the table
is not open, specify NOWRITE or WRITE in the
Open tables
field. - Specify a row number or a search operand list to identify a row.
When you press Enter, a panel is displayed (Figure 1) to allow you to confirm the delete request.

The fields on the panel are:
- Table name
- Name of an open table
- Row number
- Number of the row to be deleted.
Press Enter to delete the row, or enter the END or CANCEL command to cancel the deletion.
