How to configure ports?
To reserve a port for TCP/IP applications for a reusable configuration
or TCP/IP stack, take either of the following actions:
- Configure directly on the TCP/IP stack or use reusable configuration:
- For stack configuration, see Configure TCP/IP Stack Resources on a stack
- To include a reusable configuration to a TCP/IP stack, see Configure a Reusable Configuration and Manage reusable configuration on a stack .
- Configure your port:
- Access the ports table, control unreserved table, autolog table,
and port global properties from the TCP/IP Stack Resources table for Ports: Reserve ports for TCP/IP applications.
For example, on the Reserve Tab: Click Actions > New to Reserve a port or port range. Enter your port reservation configuration on the Reserve a port or port range on the panel
- Optionally, update the Advanced tab panel.
- Access the ports table, control unreserved table, autolog table,
and port global properties from the TCP/IP Stack Resources table for Ports: Reserve ports for TCP/IP applications.
