Access method services (AMS) modifications

This topic describes changes to the access method services (AMS) commands to support the new recording technique for encryption. These commands are changed.

ALTER VOLUMEENTRY
CREATE VOLUMEENTRY
DCOLLECT
LISTCAT

Attention: Use these AMS commands only to recover from tape volume catalog errors. Because AMS cannot change the library manager inventory in an automated tape library, use ISMF for normal tape library alter functions.
