Input/output configuration data set (IOCDS)

An I/O configuration data set (IOCDS) contains information to define the I/O configuration to the processor complex's channel subsystem. Start of changeThe IOCDS is created on the support element hard disk by IOCP.End of change A POR loads the IOCDS into HSA to initialize the hardware to reflect the IOCDS.
