The TS (text split) line command moves part or all of a line of text to the following line. This makes it easier for you to add new material to existing text.

To split a line:
To rejoin lines, use the TF (text flow) line command. See TF—Text Flow for more information.

Figure 1 shows how to split text and to insert blank lines. To split the text and insert three lines, type TS3 in the line command field of the line you want to split and place the cursor where you want the line split.

When you press Enter, the line is split at the cursor position and the editor inserts the number of blank lines specified, as shown in Figure 2.
