Steps to take: Check with your ISVs to make sure the product levels you are using support the new z/OS release, and then reconnect your ISV products to the new release of z/OS following the instructions provided by the ISVs. If any ISV products do not need to be installed in the same libraries and zones as z/OS, place them in their own sets of libraries and SMP/E zones. This means that, unless you have to change ISV product code, such as installing PTFs, or obtain a new level of the product, you will not need to reinstall it after you install a new ServerPac.
