Dynamically extending the size z/OS UNIX System Services Planning GA32-0884-00 |

To dynamically extend the size of the TFS, the maximum size or
a maximum number of extensions can be specified. For example:
where filesysname is
the name of the file system to be extended. Each extension is 1 K
blocks.The default extend settings can be changed. For example:
where number is the number of automatic
or manual extends allowed for a file system that is subsequently mounted
without using the -ea or -em parameters. Restriction: The sum of auto-extend and manual extend cannot exceed 500. |
