You can enter a TSO/E command from the shell in either of these
ways:
Use the man command to view descriptions
of TSO/E commands by prefixing the command with tso.
For example, to view a description of the MOUNT command, you would

If you type a TSO/E command from the shell and press <Enter> instead of the TSO function key, you may receive a message that the command is not found. Because you did not press the TSO function key, the shell attempted to process the command as a shell command. (You can use the Retrieve function key to redisplay the command.) |
