Syslog tracing is available to aid in debugging z/OS® UNIX FTP server problems. The following methods are available to start, stop, or modify syslog daemon and server tracing:

• TRACE start option
• FTP.DATA DEBUG statement
• FTP.DATA DUMP statement
• MODIFY jobname,DUMP operator command
• MODIFY jobname,DEBUG operator command
• Server SITE DEBUG command
• Server SITE DUMP command
