Discontinue using a checkpoint data set z/OS JES2 Initialization and Tuning Guide SA32-0991-00 |
|
If you want to discontinue using a checkpoint data set, respond to the $HASP271 CHECKPOINT RECONFIGURATION OPTIONS and $HASP272 ENTER RESPONSE message pair with the appropriate “SUSPEND” option (that is, a reply of ‘5’ or ‘6’). Note: If your MAS is running in DUPLEX mode and one of more
members specified DUPLEX=OFF, you can still specify discontinue using
CKPT1. JES2 will attempt to make CKPT2 your primary data set. After
JES2 completes SUSPEND processing, DUPLEX=ON is set for every MAS
member.
